Collection: Heirloom Vegetable Seeds
Like treasured jewelry or furniture that has been handed down through the family, heirloom seeds have been passed on through generations of gardeners and often hold interesting stories. While there is no industry standard on what defines an heirloom, it is generally agreed that it must be an open-pollinated variety, meaning the seeds can be saved and grow "true", nearly identical to the parent plant.
Botanical Interests considers open-pollinated varieties over 50 years old to be heirlooms. We love researching the history of our varieties so we can pass on the heirloom vegetable seeds and their stories to you and your garden, keeping them alive and adding future generations to their story.
