Sunshine Blend Gazania Seeds

Gazania rigens

Brighten up the garden with a beautiful array of sunny, warm colors from yellow to mauve and beyond. Gazania is a stunning groundcover with lush, low-growing greenery and blooms rising high on their stems to greet the day. Petals unfurl in the sunshine and close in cloud cover. Once established, plants are drought tolerant and thrive in heat, making them a good choice for a rock garden or wildflower area, but they will enhance just about any type of garden. Attracts pollinators. Perennial in USDA zones 9–11; often grown as an annual.

Threw these seeds in an old planter pot to brighten up my patio. Took no special care of them just got rain water and sunshine and grew so well! A very beautiful blend of colors too.

So pretty and so easy to grow. I started these inside in April and that was too early. They were so root bound when I was finally able to put them outside that I thought they would die for sure. I broke the root ball up aggressively and kept them well watered for a while. They have not disappointed. I love their unique and bright colors.
