More of a question. Can these be allowed to grow and hang over a raised bed instead of staking? I have some that are 2ft high.

Thank you so much for the 5-star review! Great question about letting them hang over your raised bed! While cherry tomatoes can definitely trail and cascade beautifully, these pole varieties will get quite heavy once they're loaded with fruit - much heavier than your 2ft plants are now. Without some support, the weight of all those delicious tomatoes might cause the stems to break or the plants to pull themselves out of the soil. You could try a hybrid approach - maybe some loose support or even letting them drape over the edges with a little backup staking just to keep the main stems secure. Your plants are going to produce an amazing rainbow of cherry tomatoes! Keep on growing 🌻

Used same conditions as last year to germinate seeds. These did not produce seedlings.

I planted these seeds in my 2024 and 2025 summer garden. The golden nugget is delicious! I only wish it was an indeterminate. The brown tomatoes were quite vigorous but not too tasty; the green tomato has good flavor. The color of the white tomato was interesting but the taste wasn't notable either way. Overall I think the packet was good value for money. As a relatively new gardener it was an inexpensive way to get a feel for what's out there.

This review is about the replacement packet. The original packet did not have enough seeds & was missing most of the varieties described. This time, all the varieties were included but germination was disappointing. However, I did get several vigorous plants of Chocolate Cherry & Sundrop. If I were BI, I'd remove this selection from the catalog. It's too "iffy" a selection. There's no way to guarantee the proper number of seeds or the full variety selection. I really wanted Bicolor, Green Grape & Gold Nugget but they simply didn't germinate. It's great that the seeds are color coded for identification but in the end, it was a bit of a let down. I'll try again next year. Maybe germination for the others will go better. But as you see in my pics, what I got growing is pretty good stuff.
