Florist's Sunny Bouquet Sunflower Seeds

Helianthus annuus (hybrid)

Who can resist flowers with names like 'Apricot Twist', 'Lemon Sorbet', 'Moonshadow', and 'Peach Passion'? Also livening up this brilliant mix are 'Starburst Lemon Éclair', 'Stella Gold', 'ProCut Orange', and 'Starburst Lemon Aura'. These tall plants, some single stemmed and some branching, are ideal for the back of the garden or as a border. Plant only 10" apart to produce longer stems with smaller blooms. As pollenless hybrids, there'll be no more messy pollen drop from your gorgeous cut flower arrangements, but still plenty of nectar for pollinators. Sunflowers are edible, with a bittersweet flavor. The petals add a pretty pop of color ion salads and desserts. The young, sunflower buds are edible, with a flavor similar to artichoke hearts. They can be grilled, marinated, or sauteed for an unusual appetizer or side dish.Drought tolerant, but best flower production with regular water.

    Good Germination but no variety

All the seeds planted germinated however 22 out of 25 were the same yellow types with the seed area in the middle. No teddy bear ones, apricot colored ones, nor white as pictured on the package. They are beautiful though it’s just too bad they give you more of the common ones than the other rarer ones. Save your money and buy the varieties you really want individually so that you can guarantee the outcome.
